Opportunity: Montana Program Seeking Director

Helena College Community Education Center extends the resources of the college by providing a wide range of high quality non-credit training and educational opportunities, developed and delivered in response to the community – for individuals, businesses, and families. This position reports to the Director of Community Education Center & SBDC who reports directly to the Dean/CEO. As the Montana Motorcycle Rider Safety Program is legislatively assigned to the Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education, the Director will work closely with the MUS Director of Assurance and Enterprise Risk.

Important info about MSF Basic RiderCourse Rider Handbooks!

You may recall the MSF eNews in July announcing the BRC Rider Handbooks availability from the Kindle store. This marked the beginning of our transition away from paper handbooks and into digital content delivery. Before long only the digital Rider Handbook will available, so why not try it today?

How to source the book, provide it to students, and a list of compatible devices (virtually anything with a screen) is included in our Kindle RH FAQ document found in the Library.

RETSORG FAQs

What is the purpose of RETSORG?

The RETSORG website is designed to provide the training community with a venue for professional development. In the future, we will be posting news and developments in areas such as adult learning and motorcycle safety. This website will also be used to post web-based training activities for RiderCoaches.

How do I know my current location within the site?

Generally speaking, the selected menu item of the page you are visiting will be highlighted gold. You may, at any time, click the "Home" link if you lose your bearings.

Do I need to Logout? If so, how do I Logout?

It is recommended that you logout after finishing a session. Logging out is simple. Located at the top right corner of the screen, click the "Logout" link.

What is a Curriculum/System Change Submission?

This type of submission will be directed more toward changing some aspect of the curriculum or the course itself. We expect these types of changes to be more structural in nature and to deal more with the "What" of training and program administration. For example, someone could conceivably suggest a new course that would fill an identified training void.

Can I post to the site myself?

No. The site is designed to facilitate your input through a standardized submission process. The submission process will ensure that all curriculum/system change submissions are reviewed and evaluated according to criteria that fit the vision and values of MSF RETS.

Who will have access to the RETSORG website?

The RETSORG website has been designed primarily for RiderCoaches, RiderCoach Trainers, State and program administrators. This portion of the MSF website will be password protected. You will use your last name and your RiderCoach Community identification number to gain access.
